Common Variable Immunodeficiency Support Group
Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a group of 20-30 primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) which have a common set of symptoms but with different underlying causes. CVID's underlying causes are different, but the result of these are that the body doesn't produce sufficient antibodies in response to exposure to pathogens.

Have you tried cannabis for appetite stimulant? At the infusion center I go a couple people were really losing weight, and their doctors recommended it for the side effects of chemo. Another woman was chiming in how she used it too for some other disease..Can't remember the disease, but she didn't have any appetite and lots of pain and her dr recommended it. Just a thought..
Hope you start to feel better soon..

It really is more scary watching someone do it than actually doing it..
What type of enzymes are you on? I take Zenpep 25000 X5 with each meal..I was only taking 2 and my dr upped it to 5 in Dec, it really made a difference..
Good things to eat, for those with pancreas problems, baked sweet potato, you can add cinnamon to it, puree it and add fat free half & half, tastes like a pudding... still adds the calories you need with no fat..
Feel free to ask questions I have been doing this for awhile now. The pancreas can cause lots of problems..Don't know if you get the pain with it or not..Some people are in constant pain & others just get it occasionally. Others not at all..Go figure..
Wish you all the best & hope you can start gaining some weight soon..

I hope you find the balance you need for your Pancreas. It sounds very complicated and challenging. And very uncomfortable beyond the weight loss.
Reading this thread was quite educational for me as I don't have experience with this but it gave me some ideas for sharing with a friend. Take care of your self. Sending you a hug - Zen
