I have been acting so different toward my mom lately and haven't been callling my dad like I normally do.
I have known for about 10 years that I am a lesbian, but am just about to come out to my parents for the second time, tomorrow. I guess I am being very short and agrivated because I know I have a very difficult task in front of me.
Have any of you felt this and how did you deal with it?

Yes, I think we've all felt like this at one time or another. There was a time when I was so angry at them. I think I was projecting society's views on them. Like why can't I just be gay and nobody care. I felt like no matter what they said that they wouldn't totally accept me in the back of their minds. Like they'd be dissapointed. And that led to me thinking they had no right. The only thing that made it better was coming out to them. I got the closure I needed. Good luck! I hope everything goes/went okay with your situation!!

I was getting mad at myself because I knew I was hidding this from them. Just a few months before I told them I thought that being GLBTQ was wrong, but it was because I was in denial. I have had the guts to stand up to my mom though when she threw that into my face. She also says I am throwing my life away. Normally I would have shut down, but not this time... I am happy and I hope she knows it soon. She also says that my family doesn't like it, but they go along with me, but she isn't going to do that.(trying to make me fel bad) My come back to her was, "that's okay, noone has to like it as long as they don't tell me I am not someone that I know I am."

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
