You are not the only one who dont like labels. I have people always asking or assuming that I was a lesbian, Well I just made the choice that I rather have a relationship with a girl then a guy. But one day I had a person ask me what sexuality am I and i said I am undefined, I am also undeclared and that who ever I pick will be the love of my life!!!

i agree with you both on the dislike of labels. i'm not sure what i am so i cant exactly "come out" like people keep telling me to. by people i mean the select few i have told about my crushes on girls. i had a huge crush on this one girl and she liked me too but she had a boyfriend at the time and i just...lost interest i guess. but she labels me as bi just cuz i liked her. since i dont really like any girls now its hard to tell if i am or not. thats why i dont want to be labeled. labels are hard to get rid of...

Tismekt - Exactly! In my current social group which is mostly my work friends, they thought something was "up" with me when they were first getting to know me, and then one day when I mentioned an ex boyfriend, one of them commented that they had thought I was gay, but now it was clear that I was not... so I didn't even define myself and I already had a label. Now I feel silly going back and saying.... actually I'm mostly interested in women. I feel like I missed my opportunity and now there is no sense in going back unless I get in a relationship with a woman.

I can say that since I "came out" to my therapist a few weeks ago, I'm feeling the urge stronger than ever. There are always those underlying assumptions people make, and if I came out, those woudn't be there, like my co-workers asking if I'm excited about the new guy working across the hall... But those are always going to be there.

I have this problem. People assume I'm bi because I'm attracted to both males and females, but in reality I'm pansexual. Pansexuality implies that sexes do not only encompass male and female, but sexes, genders, and gender identities. MtF (transgender male to female), FtM (transgender female to male), transexual, genderfuck, queer, etc. There is a plethora of identities, nothing says you have to only love women, or only love men, or only love both.

You don't have to have an orientation, just like you don't have to have a religion political viewpoint. You can be "independent." :]

I cannot be labeled, either. I have been married, and fell in love with a woman - and that is when I learned that we are all Pink and Blue, we are not one thing and never will be, and that the Universe sends love in all different packages for every person. Since I have been on "both sides" - I do prefer women - but I can't stand labels, and even walking in a Pride parade is difficult for me because I don't like being lumped into one word with a lot of people. I am Lavender - Pink & Blue - and always will be.
