Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.

Is anyone having trouble uploading a new photo? I sometimes have a tough time with this site. Apparently it won't take JPEG? So, what does it take. My grandson is almost 4 months old now and his birth photo needs updating! Who would guess that profile photos are soooo stressful!!!

How funny to see your post. I just now changed my pic. Thought mine was a little outdated and also was proud to post that I just recently celebrated another birthday and good results from my scans. I came home from the hospital the day after my 46th birthday last year. A few weeks ago was my first celebration of a one year anniversary of being cancer free and hopefully many more. I never thought i'd like birthdays but now I seem to be grateful I am having them despite feeling old, saggy and forgetful! haa! :-)........@Kate....I have a Mac. I dragged a photo from my desk top to the profile pic place and then pressed download on the right side. It took a few minutes to download. Not sure if this works with your computer. Best of luck. I have had to make my photos smaller in order to upload them.

Finally was able to update my photo. I think the trick is that if your photo is too far away, it doesn't register? Seems like the frame should be filled with something. So, here is a photo of some wild sunflowers that I took while on a walk 2 years ago. Enjoy!

I have no idea how I ended up with a profile picture? It was not the one I had picked, but I had been trying since I was on here.
It would tell me picture not loaded?
The avatar picture showing I have used before on other message boards and somehow it showed up?
Kate yours is nice thanks for sharing it and Gettingthroughthis that is smart in dragging the picture, but I would probably end up having mine on my frount page news page. :)

Now BettyJO you are smarter than I am on the PC (maybe?) :) I can make them smaller and bigger and everything I do I learn by accident. I just go to the corners of the picture and the mouse becomes magic, and makes arrows for you to pull the picture in or out. I can make them bigger or smaller, but then I have no idea what to do with them.
Seems my old PC was smarter than me in giving me an avatar.
