Colon Cancer Support Group
Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
I have heard some say they had in in the office with the area being deadened.
I have heard others say they were put to sleep like when they had it put in.

I was awake but in la la land. I know I had Versed and I think Diprivan AKA Propofol.
It was sewn up with absorbing stitches. Need to keep it bandaged for 2 days and dry for 2 weeks. It's healing nicely, just itches.
I asked them if I needed another port where would they put it and they said the same place. Lets hope I never need another one!
