Colon Cancer Support Group
Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
You can probably see through some of my writings that I use a lot of humor, especially when I'm nervous.
My most current famous joke was when I went in for my resection on Groundhog Day. I asked the MD if the colon slipped back into the cavity if we'd have 6 more weeks of winter? Well, it didn't and I gave "birth" to an 18" groundhog! AND we had an early spring. Go figure!! I hope they don't expect an early spring next Feb!!! I'd like to keep what I have left. :)

I'll try to think up some good jokes later. . .I am more the "improv" type.
Soo....I now sing my little song on the way to chemo "Mr. Clean, Mr. Clean" Remember the Mr.Clean commercial jingle? Irish is maybe too young but some of your remember, I'm sure.
