Colon Cancer Support Group
Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. Many colorectal cancers are thought to arise from mushroom-like growths that are usually benign, but some may develop into cancer over time. The majority of the time, the diagnosis of localized colon cancer is through colonoscopy.
Here are examples:
Apricot Smoothie (280 cal)
1/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup canned apricots.
Blend ingredients and chill before serving.
2 slices of bread, toasted
Margarine
peanut butter
banana
marshmallow creme
Jam/jelly
Take 2 slices of bread of your choice and toast them. Spread margarine on one slice and a generous amount of peanut butter on top of that. Slice half of banana and put the slices on top of the peanut butter. On the other slice of bread, spread marshmallow creme and top with jam/jelly.
Also maybe some miso soup the paste variety not powder. Table spoon in a cup of hot water, tastes a bit salty but is nice.

My mother has colon/rectal cancer and she opted to try to treat it naturally because there were so many risks involved with surgery and the options there were not good. She saw a natropathic doctor and she gave her a list of foods to eat and a list of foods to stay away from. I know it's custom made for each person, but I'm sure the structure of it fits everyone. Processed foods are a main culprit in cancer, at least that's what is believed, so staying away from them can't hurt. Lots of fruits and veggies, mainly green veggies. Organic foods, no red meat and lots of fish, no shellfish. If you'd like to know more I can see if I can help you out. Also, you may want to check around your area for natropathic doctors. They have to go to 3 or 4 years of schooling and then another 4 years at a medical school that specializes in natropathy. Hope this helps!
