I've been seeing this guy for a few months now and the last deep conversation we had, he asked again how I am making it since I have been laid off for months now, he was concerned, not just being nosey it seemed. I told him how I have always been frugal anyway and now just cutting back on my spending and little luxuries and putting my wants on hold, like my dream cruise. And of course unemployment and child support (btw, I don't get $500/child, I only WISH I did) are carrying me through.
From a guy's perspective, does that sound bad? I'm assuming he is on the other end, having to pay child support. He hardly calls or emails now, just a quick hey when he does.
I use the money to pay the bills and the kids have what they need and want too without being spoiled. I used to put some away for a college fund for them too which is also on hold. I do enjoy a drink and some fun with friends, and I live comfortably but within my means. Is this wrong? Did I say something wrong? or the wrong way?

Since he's not paying your college expenses its none of his damn business how you choose to spend your money.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
