Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...
This is rough stuff. I'm sorry.
And I suspect you are also feeling a bit ignored. No one appears to care about your opinion... Go to the spa and get a massage.
Get your hair done.. do something for yourself, even if it's just buying a good book, a bouquet of flowers and make your favorite dessert. Take care of yourself, the way you would take care of a friend who is having a bad day.
Don't be so hard on yourself. The counselor asked you what level of care you thought he needed, tell them what you think. And let them know you don't think your husband is being realistic about your son's problem.
All good blessings,
i think this helps it pass much sooner than wallowing in it....
al anon, your support groups, exercise, pampering yourself....these are things we need to do everyday. not just when we get down....
now if I could practice what i preach....i'm be serene too!
