Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I have the worse time being outgoing and meeting new people. So I end up staying with people that are not good for me and use me becasue I am afraid to be alone. I need help being more solical and meeting new people.

I was very shy for many years. One day while at church I made a conscious decision to go up and introduce myself to at least one person I didn't know. At first it was just an introduction and small talk..it was ackward. But I kept at it and now when I speak to people I am more comfortable and at ease not worrying what to say. When I begin to not know what to say, I say "its nice to meet you" have a nice day. Its okay to walk away from an uncomfortable situation or conversation. Now I have several friends.

Been there. So, first thing you need to do is acknowledge your feelings. You've done that. You need people around that are good for you, that support you and lift you up. It is hard for everyone to meet people and be outgoing, but people almost always respond positively to others who say hello first. Make small talk until you stumble upon something you have in common. Sometimes the conversation will grow on its own. Sometimes it will just die out. Promote the ones that grow; don't worry about the ones that don't. Soon, you will have a bunch of people who like to talk and share what's going on in their lives. Make the first step. Talk. What's the worst that could happen?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
