Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...

Be kind but firm with your family. Invite them to your home, and if they refuse it is "their problem." Keep the focus on yourself and your needs.
There are many wonderful books on prejudice. Here is a wonderful web site on the subject with hundreds of articles for free. Hope this helps.

You express being caught inbetween 2 worlds, yet you are the one who is staying put.
As we say in America "its time to shit or get off the pot".
When I was 18, I got married to an "Indian doctor" from Patna, who was 22 years older than myself. The marriage lasted 10 years. He had a secret "wife" in India, and a child. He then went back to his "culture" and made the secret wife who bore his first child pregnant again The Same Time I was pregnant at 18 with my first child from him. Tell your Indian parents this story. It is important for them to know it. I had two children with this Indian doctor. The marriage lasted ten years. I was the best wife to him. I also FOUND OUT soon enough he was married to an American, but separated from her ONLY during all of this time.
Took me many decades to heal from this pain. My first daughter and his INDIAN daughter are only 3 months apart. Then he deserted this INDIAN wife forever. She now lives in DIRE POVERTY. Spread the word about prejudice. It seems to be all over the world for centuries. What cruelty humans weave.
