How do you fill that hole in your heart? I still need to feel loved and have the need to be with friends and or relatives even though they mistreated me. I'm always saying sorry and that I'm wrong, and they never take responsibility for anything. I've distanced myself from them, but miss them and want to see them. How do I fill this hole and love myself?

Mag333, human beings need healthy relationships, if the people you are surrounded by a those who you will sink with then it is better to spend time alone. When you no longer attract and be attracted to people who mistreat you then you will be be on your way to healing that hole in your heart . I suggest get involved in what ever you feel passionately about, that is where you will meet like minded souls who have better things to do other than treat friends/family badly.

I like CoralL's suggestion of getting involved in whatever activities you feel passionately about and meeting other people that way. Anything - church groups, non-credit classes at a local college, local groups, groups on meetup.com, etc. Al-anon and Coda can be a good place to find support too and help you grow and learn to love yourself. You deserve to have people in your life who treat you well. Also, finding a higher power can help fill the hole in your heart. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose again to save us and believing he did that for you and asking him into your life can be very helpful. I find it helpful to go to a Christ centered 12 step group and to join small groups at church, it's helping me much more than when I tried to be a 'lone' Christian. Hope this helps, you deserve to be treated well and there's lots of ways that your heart can be healed and filled.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
