I will call You on say Sunday thats what i do with my
Mother. My mother does not like boundaries and
Tramples all over everyones. After my divorce she
Was relentless so now i keep it simple and dont say
Much really. Its sad but not much i can do if i want
To stay sane and not be controlled or micro managed.
Since starting alanon my boundaries are much tougher
I am no longer a people pleaser.
I have learned to self protect and keep myself safe
From bullies and abusers. Detaching and keeping
My distance when needed. Bullies back down when
You dont take what they dished out. Its almost amazing
to watch them its harder when its closer relationships. It
takes being Strong within yourself and not caring about
the outcome.
The best thing to do is not react and think first before
responding. "You may right, i will think about that, i never
thought of that thank you" my MIL use to get me all the
Time not sure how i would handle her now. No contact
With her and my ex. HUGS
