I had supper with my stbx last night to go over some final paperwork for the divorce.
He has been trying to convince me to come back, and has given me some reassurances these past few weeks that he is changing - not drinking, smoking, quitting the porn, etc...and has been pretty convincing. I have to admit, I was feeling a bit weak, and was thinking maybe he could change for the better.
Well, last night when I met him for supper I was helping him activate his new phone, and there was porn on his internet browser. He so very obviously hasn't changed!
Peeps - don't let them talk you into coming back! We as codependents have a really hard time saying no, and we want things to work out!
Glad I came to my senses. Onward! :-)

I'm sure he told you the porn was from someone else playing a joke on him and putting it there, right? That's what my STBX used to tell me when I found porn on his phone, even though he had a passcode on his phone.
