Codependency Support Group
Codependency is defined as someone who exhibits too much, and often inappropriate, caring for another person's struggles. A codependent person may try to change, or feel shame about their most private thoughts and feelings if they conflict with the other person's struggles. If you are on a journey towards self-love, this support group is for you. Join us and find others...

Not everyone will like us. It may be at the point where you want to start looking around for another job where you would have greater opportunities. Apparently here you have none.

Look n line things up before jumping.
U may also want to check all benefits that you may get if you were laid off. these state benefits may support you while you get loans ... oen your own business r gain employee w better company.
If you do eventually leave, you DO NOT want to leave any employer with a letter that states anything derogatory, or anything off tone. It may feel good at the moment, but it will come back to bite you years later when you look for more jobs and other potential employers contact them. That old employer will have the last laugh.
The old employer can tell the other potential employers you were negative or disgruntled (and your letter will prove that) or even worse, not say anything except to state in a really bad tone that they would NEVER rehire you--and that's the kiss of death.
You want to submit a very nice and grateful resignation letter giving them two weeks notice, and thank them for the opportunity of working there and working with the great bosses you had. I make it a habit of not telling anyone the new place where I am going to work (because I had a crazy manager threaten to call them and get me fired there. I went to the head Partner of the law firm and he was embarrassed and spoke with the manager and got her stopped. Then there was a shakeup there after I left in the manager's position and some others too.
You also want to confidently shake the hands of your boss and thank her for everything you have learned from her and you are grateful to have worked with her.
You kiss ass in order to try to smooth the future in case potential employers call them.
I worked for a total donkeys rear once myself. I said nothing to anyone save those whose job it was to help me find a different position. Others were doing the same without any of us telling anyone.
One person got out before the rest of us. She talked about how glad she was "to be out of that group" so often that management got wind of it. They stepped in to provide discipline and correct the situation.
There are times when the best we can do is to simply take care of ourselves. Your talents will show. When you leave that manager will suddenly no longer "perform" as well. Management notices the long term and once your reputation is LONG TERM, you have it made. Then you can make minor mistakes along the way and they simply look at the situation differently. Working hard under such management is good training for dealing with idiot CEO's and others who are in upper management without breaking. That will serve you well in the long term.
Take the anger home and let it vent in a safe way - not on your family unless you wish to alienate them totally. Practice remaining completely calm in face of anything she could possibly do. Make up extremes that could never happen and think how to remain calm and react with patience.Walk in each day knowing full well this moron will be there and behave badly. Eventually, your brain will simply notice her like a mosquito buzzing around, aggravating but not threatening your life and something that can be walked away from.
Use every situation as a learning experience for YOUR betterment. Then when you have that skill down, you get something the idiots never imagined you were learning at their expense.
