Just finishing, "The New Codependency". It's the book she wrote after Codepency No More. She's added some things and tweaked a few things so that it relates to the internet age and so forth.

You might want to try "Bradshaw On: The Family: A Revolutionary Way of Self-Discovery", by John Bradshaw. This book deal s with the dysfunctional family, the root cause of codependency. Also good are "Co-Dependence: Misunderstood-Mistreated". by Anne Wilson Schaef and "Choice Making", by Sharon Wegscheider-Cruse. All of these books are available at: www.amazon.com

Another excellent source for information on codependency is Hazelden. This place started out many years ago as a treatment center for alcoholism. Over the years, they've added all sorts of things to their campus including a spiritual renewal center that's built around the Twelve Steps, and a HUGE recovery bookstore. One final suggestion that might also be of some help. When looking for information on codependency, be sure check under "Adult Children of Alcoholics". What they call the "Adult Child Syndrome" is actually codependency. Anything that deals with the "adult child" or the "inner child" is dealing with codependency issues. I found "Healing the Child Within", by Charles Whitfield, MD, to really resonate for me. I'm now using the companion workbook he wrote for it, "A Gift to Myself," as part of my recovery work.
