I actually got diagnosed because I was obese and feeling a lot of back pain, had trouble sitting in some chairs, and the doc. said, as long as I was getting an X-ray and an MRI for my back, I should have a blood test, for cholesterol and stuff, and an ultrasound of the abdomen to check for fat in my liver.... the rest is history....
After; Same symptoms only worse and now I'm constantly thirsty and feel like laying on the floor and don't want to move a finger because it seems like to much effort. Skin rash when I put any stress on my liver.
I just red your profile (duh), raised ALT and AST values usually return to normal within a matter of weeks. Be warned though (as I wasn't) raised enzymes means you are doing enough to permanently damage your liver, so after they come back to 'normal' you should consider stopping/reducing your alcohol intake. As many will testify here, cirrhosis is probably one of the worst ways you get to die, please make sure you don't even get close!!!

top of my feet and ankles...and fatigue. I slept for 72 hours straight. That's when I went to the doc.
You need to see a doctor and get an exam and simple blood tests.
Even if you don't have it, some counseling either by your doc or somewhere like AA maybe in order as you obviously have issues, mental or otherwise, with alcohol.
