Saw both Drs yesterday. Both gave me hell for smoking, which is odd for the VA they usually don't say much. Even have a butt hut by the front door with heat and AC. So, I guess I'm quitting.
Checked ammonia levels as that can cause confusion etc. Said tired might be result of pills I take for restless legs and to sleep. Could also be due to toxins in digestive tract cause as liver worsens it doesn't clean out toxins as well and not being regular means they don't get passes out of body. So, gave me lactulose to help keep me regular and cleaned out.
Have had fast and slow heart rates so I was on a monitor for 24 hours to see what the deal there is. Find out next week.
Basically live better, exersize more, take the lactulose and see how it goes. If not better in a couple of weeks I will go to regular Dr about changing leg and sleeping meds.
Claims new drugs for Hep C should start being OKed in about a year. Hope so.
Stress could be factor in how I feel to. Talked to boss yesterday and he's good with me taking whatever time I need. That and passed DOT physical so I can drive for another 2 years at least. So, 2 less things to worry about.

You are also very lucky to have a boss who is understanding like that and willing to work with you during this challenging time.

I went through several years of fast/slow heart rate and extremely low blood pressure. Passed out and fell dozens of times because my heart would skip a beat or two. Tore my rotator cuff (two surgeries to fix), multiple head lacerations, broken ribs, etc.
Finally discovered I was overdosing on the BP meds. Took a while but we finally got the dosage to where I can handle it.
Not a doctor, just relating some of what I went through and thought it might help.
