Thank you akacountrygirl. Be careful with that sleepiness... if ammonia levels are too high, (H.E.), can cause excessive sleepiness at the start. Do you have access to lactulose or it's equivalent? Because the medicine is harmless, it's a great way to tell where you are at...if things get better in 24 hrs, well, then you know you weren't doing so well. If you feel the same, then keep resting and healing. I only take lactulose when I start feeling weird and sleepy all the time...it's been about 4-6 months since I used it last. (The stuff will flush nutrients and good bacteria from your body if you use it all the time like doctors order!) I am more convinced than ever that cirrhosis is not a death sentence. Resting, no stressing and healthy eating goes a long way in this game. I'm still working up to daily walks lol. Take care

I was able to address one issue yesterday. I got a shot in my knee and it doesn't hurt as much as it did. I still hurts though so I assuming the doc will want to do more injections. Getting a facet joint procedure which is supposed to help with the lower back. I've done it before and the thing it accomplished was leaving big black/purple bruises. I don't care though. I am so tired of laying in bed because of my knee and lower back. I have a 10lb Chihuahua and it hurts just to pick her up.
Oh well, it is what it is and I'm going to do everything possible to fix this.

Dear Lord, I come to you with a heavy heart. I know life is going to be full of challenges but I never dreamed that I would be hurting all the time.
I ask you Lord, to be with everyone on DS, as well as those who haven't made it this far. I thank you for the struggles because I know there is a lesson to be learned. Help us open our hearts and minds so that we can understand what this tribulation is going to lead us.

In Jesus name. We thank you Lord for everything we do have. Just know that I have been at my breaking point for over a year. AMEN.

It's probably all me, but it doesnt matter...for 4 days I couldnt find this post or my reply...for 4 days I didnt know if you trusted in God. He is our only hope. I am so glad you put your trust in Jesus! He will never fail you! Now with confidence I can tell you...He holds your hopes and dreams in the palm of His hand..."it hasnt even entered the heart or thoughts of man, what God has prepared for those who love Him!"
I am so happy for you, despite the dark trials that discourage you at this moment. Dang! You have so much to be hopeful for!! Sorry if I get preachy! Now I know you will be ok!! I cant believe you posted this prayer 4 days ago, and I just now found it! Now I'm sounding like a nut. AKA, please keep us posted. I joined DS in 2008. Wow almost 9 years ago. Lots of people met, in person from DS, are not walking the earth anymore.
