I don't visit here as often as I did before they revamped it. What kind of complications, may I ask? CG, there are very very few from this group that have posted since the revamp. The cirrhosis group has been slow even before that. People in here are mostly end stage. It's hard for them to have the health to be online. I'll do my best to check in more often. I remeber you from hepc group.

Swelling of legs and feet, Enlarged liver, Lung problems due to Liver, They found a spot on my lung yesterday.

AKA 'm still here! Sorry they found a spot on your lung. Your body wants to live & will keep on fighting. I'm hoping your spirit hangs on for the ride. Who do you have near you to help? Reach out! Any groups in your area, or churches, at the library?

My name is Bob and I can relate to your fears. I have cirrhosis and am afraid of what may be in store for me down the road. Symptoms have been speeding up in my case and I feel the loneliness and fear with no one to care or share the inner thoughts and fears. I try to turn to meditation and prayers in times of stress. I have started just thinking about one day at a time to get through it. Please feel free to share anything you have to say. Maybe we can share hints on how to get through each day.

Hey sweetie...there is a world of hope out there for you! I stopped posting as my life imploded and all hope was yanked from my soul...I was, (and still am) e.s.l.d. 3-4, But! I just aint dyin yet. Doctors, universities, and transplant centers availed nothing. I finally wrote them all off. I was a "bleeder" sudden death, varices kinda patient. "H.E." stepped in a year ago, and destroyed and boasted great doom in my life. I cannot describe the fragility of my soul, as I feared for losing my mind. I dropped 45 lbs in a month, 60 lbs in a year while fighting back with tapioca flour and complex carb stuff. All my joints were popping out of joint. But I stopped bleeding. Then I started getting stronger. And stronger. I can only give you my side of the story. Mightier men then I have long since died. Give yourself every opportunity to rest and heal. Damn the torpedoes! Rest when you need to. Eat the best you can. Believe that...life doesn't come from nothing! You have meaning! I should stop now. Hoping and praying for your best!!! Levoo

Are you still hanging in there? Just thought I'd check...these forums are not moving along at all. The spot on your lung, did it get resolved?
AA meetings can be a great thing. The honesty there, can be very refreshing for anybody.
