Thank you for your comment, we don't often pay attention to the simple things in life.

I worked out at the gym for an hour, the weather is hot, but luckily where I live it cools down a lot at night so things are comfortable. I've also always been sensitive to cold, so I'm perfectly comfortable in the low 80s. When it hits 90s and 100s, not so much, but they're rare for my area.

Things are beautiful. One of my favorite lines from "The Abyss" is that you just need to look with better eyes.

So true...and thanks to you both for the reminder. I've been through a bit of discouragement this week - but am determined to keep my spirits in high gear. And indeed so crucial is the ability to view our surrounding world and circumstances through humble, thankful and appreciative eyes...to count and treasure our many, many blessings! As time passes and through interactions and observations on this board and others - I see with increasing clarity the extent to which we're all engaged in a spiritual battle as much as a physical one. The two cannot be separated, can they?
