Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Hope she was happy with the end results??
Kids are the worse bullies!
((Hugs))
My younger daughter and several of her classmates when she was in 2nd grade were bullied by one girl and the school did nothing. And she is at a Catholic school!!! It wasn't until the end of last school year (3rd grade) did I get upset enough to take matters into my own hands and call the girls mom. Thank God I did because the mom had NO idea what had been going on. The school never told her the whole story like they said they were doing. She was mortified! One parent pulled her daughter from the school over the issue because it got so bad and the school did nothing. Now the mom knows and has finally made her apologize to my daughter but damage done. We may be pulling her from the school too. It is sooo sad.
Your awesome Cherry and I am so glad you were able to be there for her. ~ Autumn
Take good care of yourself,

My girl is friendly, confident, very popular and has never been bullied before. The only person SHE tends to bully is her little brother...well, more like a mother hen with him.
My DIL is pretty laid back about the whole thing asshe is with life in general. I would have turned into Mother Rhino from Wild Kingdom!
I had a chance to visit wih Elizabeth recently and I asked her about her friends...etc. She said there is no bullying in her class at school. Of course, this school year could be different as she moves up a floor to the middle school level for 6th grade.
I'll be keeping a discreet eye open...she's such a lovely girl.
Thanks,
Cherry
I'm sorry Cherry, that was a horrible thing to do & thank god you were there for her. I can understand she wants to put this behind her but I'm going to bet she will never forget it.
Perhaps she is handling it the best way for now, not allowing the girl who did the dirty deed to get any satisfaction over such a mean act.
She sounds like a sweet heart. I hope she does not face such a cruel act again.

You my dear, delight me every single day!!! Every little girl in America wishes they had you as their Grandmother. I think that the fact that your 11 year old grand daughter came to you on her own, in tears, with this problem knowing Grandma would help is so awesome. You obviously have a great relationship with her and that says vomits about you.
I too, am appalled that this happened to her. And I think you are wise to keep an eye on the situation. But, I can't help think about the bond this has created between the two of you. And now she knows without reservation who she can turn to in a crisis. Thank you for being there for her. I say that simply because not all grand daughters are so fortunate.
In my book this earns you...
Super Hero Grandmother Status!
Hugs, Cathy
and b/c she had to be the victim of such a mean-hearted little "friend". the sad thing is that her mother will probably excuse her behavior.
what you did for her will last in her heart forever. bless you!!
I also would be hunting that little nasty shi* down and giving her a new hair cut and a dye job....and I would DEFINATELY be contacting her parents. The problem is...I don't think a lot of parents care anymore. In my humble opinion...most spend far too much time making their kid "happy" than they do teaching their child how to be accountable and honorable.
I say that Karma comes back x 3 and the frenemy will get hers in the end...
HUGS !

Cherry
You are WONDERFUL!
I was bullied horribly as a child EVEN by my grandmother. Who told me that I was named after an ugly boat on the river.
Imagine with that going on at HOME, when I got to school, I was ripe for any bully who came along.
Bullies are the worst. They take away self esteem, and destroy lives. Were it not for a teacher along the way, I was going to end this suffering at one time.
You may be that person for your grand daughter. BUt really this needs to be reported to the authorities. Children do take their lives over being bulied. It is not allowed in most school.
It is a terrible thing to do to anyone.
'what goes around comes around"!
My daughter had a "new" friend stay over that stole her garnet ring that was made for her specially. We went to the father. His daughter had the ring on her finger. He asked us to prove it with such stone cold arrogance. Luckily I had the receipt and said I was going to the police. The girl gave me the ring. Then he threw us out. I did feel bad for the kid. Your little one's frenemy(i like that name!) did bodily damage.
You are awesome!
