Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Someone else usually has it worse than we do. My heart breaks for that poor young girl having to deliver and lose a baby.
Get the help that others have recommended. Tigg had a good idea. Also, as Lynn said, you can call your friend, or email or something.
Know that we care, and we're here for you.
Blessings, Elizabeth
CUT IT OUT. you aren't twelve and i don't want to hear another word about you offing yourself until you TRY to get your affairs in order in the same manner anyone in your situation would. you're far from the end of some rope you've built. ACT, accomplish something in the way of your healthcare and if 3 years down the road in your treatment you still want to walk out on the public suicide pier, then more power to ya.
just don't rip my heart like it's yesterday's paper in the gutter, when you've not made enough changes to even examine a new POV.
i know i'm being harsh, but you need a wake up call. you're talking to a group of people who have lost so much more than their ability to live without constant pain. my god, the things we've sacrificed. you're new, you're depressed, you're dying for attention because of what your family has put you through.
this isn't the perfect, penultimate place to heal. you need therapy, you need physical medical help, you need things that our sympathy cannot provide you.
but, i swear, the next person who flings suicide up like a flag to get attention and praise, is going to wish they had thought it over first. suicide is not romantic, nor will it solve your problems and it most likely wont make you famous of loved by anyone who didn't already care for you. it's an easy card to pull, but it makes you look like a totally ineffectual tool.
STOP IT.
get help and get a hobby. no more woe is me, please, if it's going to be a bait for, "oh no!!! don't do it!!" instant ego gratification. frankly, you're pissing me off.
sorry,
jen

A stomach ache is not something that would be so bad for suicide talk would began, maybe someone going through terminal cancer and in some serious pain will consider but not to make their mom happy but to end their suffering.
I think your mom and I have said some harsh words about her may have some merit to some things she does.
