In case anyone else is wondering, check out dmaspord's awesome thread. I don't want to be presumtuous, but I'd like to start one,too.I've been about as low as you can get lately,and am trying to dig myself out of this hole that damn near became a grave. One of the ways I've known to help do that is to try to focus on something I have to be grateful for. Almost impossible when you're in constant unlikely to ever end pain, right? ONE THING. We all can do that, can't we? At least

Besides the usual happy things of family, bf, friends,I have the most bizarre imagination ever. A little more abstract! This keeps me amused in bad times!

I am grateful for home. A home, my home, and I smile every time I've been away, and come *home*.

I think the idea to begin a thread of what we are thankful for is brilliant. Focusing on the purely positive is a healthy approach and a good way to begin ones day. Like I tell myself often, "Fake it till you make it.". Or my favorite, "Just keep swimming!". Putting a positive spin on things takes much less personal energy than getting upset. And I don't know about you but I have zero energy to spare. It took a full week of rest after my Christmas Vacation trip and I still have not fully recovered. I just don't bounce anymore. So I have to stay mello no stress. I don't have a choice!
So what am I grateful for I am so grateful for two little girls who call me grandma. I love them both dearly and they are so delightful to spend time with. They are at the age where their personalities are beginning to crystallize and you can see who these beautiful little ladies will become. It is exciting and I love this process. I feel blessed to be a part of their lives.
