Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Lorilynn, you had stated that you've never taken Tramadol and then stated that you think Tramadol is one of the least addictive pain meds. In reality Tramadol is one of the most addictive pain meds there is. Stop by a few "Addiction and Recovery" support boards sometimes and ask how many are detoxing off of Tramadol (Ultram) and what hell it is or have detoxed off of it, you'll be amazed at the amount of people. In my 26 years of Pain Management I've only had real trouble stopping 1 medication, Tramadol, not even to mention it almost killing me from Serotonin Syndrome and the FDA allowing a too high daily max in the beginning 600mgs/day.

My Butrans patch really helps me, but I am about to ask the doc to raise it to the strongest one. I believe i may have become more opid tolerant. I fear what i may have to take if this never ends!!
