It is too late for breakfast, it is just past noon here on the West Coast, but we need to start checking in again.
Money is tight here in the Pacific Northwest, so though we have great scenery with wonderful tall trees, hubby is making beans and weaners! Everyone is welcome to come in, pull up a chair and hang out while we watch movies. Or just sit outside on the porch and watch the pair of bald eagles who nest behind the house as they soar in the sky.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
I LOVE to watch the eagles. The only time they do not make me happy is when they start trying to eat my small dog. She can only go outside on a leash!
this year the eagles did not raise a chick, but last year they did. We got to watch him learn to fly. I love watching the eagles... we get golden eagles sometimes too, but not when the balds are around!
We also get white tailed deer who like to graze in my front lawn - which drives the dogs NUTS!!! I love the wildlife around here.
I had a busy day....much going on mostly out of house all day...dropping in and out again pretty quick....
I had a good day....made some money...had dinner with two single gals one who is very very pretty, smart and richly employed at NASA in Houston TX....wish I knew how to be someone in HER life....LOL But alas she is here vacationing and dropped in on my baseball game meetup Saturday and we had dinner again tonight with another friend who also met her at the baseball game....nice dinner but darn third wheel friend was there too...LOL
I had student after dinner for night driving lesson...
Eagles come along the mississippi river in winter and we see lots of bald eagles along the river....when I was on retreat a month ago we had lots of golden eagles coming soaring over our retreat site....along the river....
