Has anyone tried this? It comes in patche that lasts 12 hours and this gel.

Voltaren (diclofenac) is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID). This medicine works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain inflammation.

Voltaren is used to treat pain or inflammation caused by rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis or ankylosing spondylitis.

I just filled my prescription and have tried it for a couple of days and it seems to be helping my lower back pain. Anyone else have stories???

Yes, I have used Voltaren gel for about 2 years now and it is working great for the breakthrough pain I have now after my shoulder surgery.
I didn't know that it came in a patch. I'm glad it is giving you some relief from it.

I've used the gel for a few years and it's given me some relief. For me, it seems to work better for some kinds of pain than others, but it's definitely worth keeping it in my supply kit!

Yes, I've used it. It gives me a little headache and so I don't favor it. It's a little tricky to not get the gel on everything.

Thanks for posting this, I haven't thought about it in a while and it may come in handy for physical therapy next week :-)

I have RA, and I use Voltaren gel on my hands and wrists when they're particularly swollen. I do think it helps- not dramatically, but a bit. My doctor told me it's best for small, close to the skin joints (so, wrists yes, hips no).

Also, just FYI, Voltaren gel is available over the counter in Canada, and is pretty cheap. I picked up an extra tube last time I was in Vancouver.
