My ankle is broken in two fibula but it hasn't been hurting too much, to my surprise. I've beem walking around in the boot without crutches. I think I got carried away and did too much, so I'm planning to keep my foot elevated on the couch and watch the snow fall.

When I broke my foot the last time I quickly switched to uggs slippers and boots. It covered the area in sheepskin. I have some pieces of sheepskin that I put over the painful places with the Boot.. But I guess every injury presents its own challenges. Hope you heal quickly. And have a good thanksgiving
