Damn! Tonight was MY night "off" from any duties b/c my foot's been bad and my headaches are flaring daily from the too-warm-too-soon weather in MI. Now we're having tornado warnings and the sirens scared me to death!
I was IN bed, all calm, resting foot, back, and sinus headaches, and ready to sleep straight through the night. Was up ALL last night planning my next trip, which is Sunday to Mexico. I'm hoping to finish my piece on Caribbean Resorts. I have very little ability to watch J tonight- he's too grumpy from not sleeping well last night. After taking him to speech and play group, we went out to eat with a pal, and now he is grumpy 2 year olds!
My hubby, a meteorologist, is excited that we're getting storms and tornadoes and is dealing with the dogs and Jaden. Luckily he is NOT off chasing the storm. He knew better than to do that with our son in the car.
I know the warm weather in Cancun Sunday will help my RSD, but the humidity will attack my headaches. I can't win!
Now we're out of valium for the dog & I had to give HIM 1/4 of mine- poor thing was about to have a heart attack. I feel stupid paying for doggie valium when it's the same thing. But to sacrifice 1 a year is no big deal. We got the vet's approval with his weight, etc. I just feel SO bad that the thunder terrifies him THAT much!
I just realized I've been complaining a LOT lately, at least for me. I don't like that. But where else can I vent? Gotta run- tornado #2 headed this way!

PS. I wanted to tell you that I shared your post about your son not realizing you're in pain and whether or not it was a good thing that I shared my illnesses with him. He said he'd rather have known about my illnesses growing up because otherwise he would have thought I just didn't want to play with him, or go to the beach or playground. That's a 13 year old's advice: share how you're feeling with your son. He'll thank you for it later!

I was at Target the other day and the now do animals meds, I wonder if they are cheaper and if the vet would write a script to be filled there. I know alot of them have their own little pharmacy in their office.
