Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I hate the med zombie feeling and when I was on regular opiates I could not function because they were to high and I had to think out side of the box and I started to take Suboxone which is used originally for addiction but it is a great pain reliever and I have zero zombie feeling of being over medicated in fact suboxone is stronger then most pain meds out there. There are still alot of studies going on for long term use for chronic pain but so far so good for me.
I am not saying you should switch but I know that trying a different med sometimes is the fit that you need for your personal life style.
I have to function having seven people living with us me and hubby have three kids plus my niece and her 5 year old daughter live with us and I help take care of her while her mom works so I have to get up and get her ready and take her to school. I know where you are coming from and it is hard and I only have to do it for a short period of time throughout the day could not imagine having to do it full time like when my kids were little.
I just get over a low front moving in and bam, high pressure front moves in, geez! Best advice, hydrate! It actually helps with changes. It also helps with allergies and jet lag.
Guess I am in that box with you...LOL!

I live in a area where our winters are mild. But, we still have the four seasons. And I feel the barometer each time it changes. My body is very sensitive to the weather.
It is an interesting Phonomome isn't it.

I commend you for caring enough about your children. Yet I'm wondering if you can take something on the weekends or for those times you need a break when you wife it home?
Too bad you can't find an in between. Something to bring you relief & yet not cause the nasty side effects. I know that can be hard.
I am use to my meds now, rarely do I feel anything. Yet when I have to babysit I get a nervous wreck over my pain levels. God bless those of you with young ones. I so enjoy my nephew & nieces.
I had my almost 4yr old last weekend. Honest to goodness they are so funny. I bought her a Tiara so she could become a princess & here she was looking for a frog to kiss. I'm not kidding.
She knows my daughter has found a frog in the garden box & enjoys watching it. She named it Henry, here she comes asking my daughter if she can kiss Henry. She is looking for her prince.
So funny & so adorable. She also did not want to be left out when my husband was singing to me, he had to hold her hand & sing to her as well. I could go on & on but they can bring a smile to your face can they not? Life, ah to be young again..................
I'm with you as far as the weather. Winter seems so long, I dread all the snow.
Blessings, Sammy
