Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Most likely you have scar tissue that is pressing on organs.
I know from experience that doctors can not see everything with external exams.
Then there is the emotional damage that seem to stay in those spots until you can heal the hurt.
Good first step.

I am very sorry that you were subjected to that abuse hun. NOONE on this planet should have to suffer that way and unfortunately many people have been abused in one form or another. It is horrendous that these monsters did this to you. Please know that they will have to answer for what they did one day. Know that this is your safe haven, we love you just as you are, and I admire your strength and goals. HUGE hugs to you and thank you for sharing as I know how hard it must be for you to share this.....
It was very brave of you to tell us your story and I'm so sorry you went through all this hell growing up. I was physically abused as a child but thankfully, never sexually abused which is a whole other realm of abuse.
I understand your feeling of wanting to find the people who did this to you and do the same to them I remember standing at my father's deathbed just screaming at him for what he did to me. He made it nearly impossible for me to ever trust a man and the first relationship I had was with an abusive man, but I had the strength to say that I wouldn't put up with it and left But I was always conscious of the other men I dated for signs of an abusive nature. Thank God I found Tim who has never laid a hand on me. If he did, I would have left.
You need your psychiatric therapy as much as pain mgt for your situation. It will help you untangle the physical from the psychological.
Best of luck, Tabby, and you're in my prayers.
Sandy
Take care.
My father molested me until I was 13 years old, my mother turned her back and ignored him and liked to beat on me with belts for the smallest mistake. When my father finally moved out when I was 13, my mom moved 1 skanky boyfriend after another in our house....I stayed away from home as much as possible and just buried myself in my studies. I finished High School a year early and started college as soon as I could, I wanted to get a career so I could get as far away from Houston, TX as possible.
Your on the right track, going to school, your opening up all kinds of doors to making your life better, it also gives you something to focus on besides the past or the current pain. You hang in there Tabby.

there really are no words strong enough to express the depth of my anger toward those who abused you. nor
are there words that can fully do justice to how incredibly brave and strong you are. you are an amazing person, and i am so glad that you feel safe enough here to share this with us. it takes a great deal of courage to do that, and you should be proud of yourself/i am proud of you, for speaking out.
believe me, i want to find the people who did this to you and make them pay too. people like them are the reason i hope there is an afterlife, because that means that hell exists and they will be there for eternity.
i wish more than anything that i could take your pain and suffering (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) away, so that you could have the wonderful, peaceful life you deserve, one in which every day is filled only with joy and love. i know that by taking the brave steps you are taking in seeking treatment and support and working toward your goals you are getting (or will get) closer and closer to having the happiness you deserve. you are incredibly courageous and one of the strongest people i have ever met. i admire you so much- your perserverence in the face of so many obstacles and the natural beauty of your spirit inspire me.
with you through your journey.
hugs and love!
Like you and others I was abused and I've been determined to show them how strong I am in spite of them! It irks their butts!
Many hugs!!!
