Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Ive been going through a prety rough time physically and emotionally. And here I can post about it and someone has beeen through the same or a similar situation. It a pretty amazing feeling to know that you're not alone anymore and you now have friends that can help you carry that heavy weight.
I have been a member of DS since 2009, although I am fairly new to this CP board. But I agree with JC.
You have all made a difference in my life and helped me start to learn how to "live" with the contant pain that im in.
I still go through my depressions but that is just the nature of the beast when you are bipolar on top of having CP. But I come here and feel not only like I am at home, but that I am surrounded by true friends who will not sugar coat things no matter how difficult they are.
So I would like to say thanks as well. This has been a wonderful support system for me and I am learning to love myself, slowly, because of the friends I have made here!
Its a huge plus & I often feel sorry for those who don't have the understanding that comes from a group of wonderful people like here.
My family knows just how much my support groups mean to me.
They realize its what I need to get by each day.
God bless & I'll throw my thanks in.
