So I'm allergic to the normal electrodes that came with my TENS unit. I can wear them for a while; an hour or two then my skin breaks out. I asked the pharmacy if they had anything different but they don't and their supplier doesn't even have anything. So last night I went online-shopping looking for something hypo-allergenic. I found some different types but thought I'd check on here and see if anyone had experience with any of them.
The best deal I found was 60 carbon electrodes for $23.85 on Amazon.com. Unfortunately they don't ship to Canada and Amazon.ca doesn't have the same deal or even the same brand of electrodes.
Then there are the 'blue gel' electrodes that are supposed to be better for sensitive skin. The best I can find so far is 11.75 for a 4pk which is crazy expensive compared to the other kind but comparable to the US price for blue gel
If anyone has tried these or has any knowledge of the difference and what might work I'd appreciate it. If I can't get what I need I'll just stick with the cheap ones (10 packs for $55 on Amazon.ca) and keep doing what I'm doing - wearing them for short periods and moving them around so I don't break out. If it turns out the best thing for you is the can't ship to Canada deal...you could have them shipped here if you want and I.ll ship them to you..( I promise not to steal them....I can't use internal or external electrical simulators........)

I just got a 300$ original unit for 40$. Hope it helps as I haven't tried one, but I had acupuncture with it and it seemed to help.
