Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
There is also the salvation army that you could check into for assistance.
Your right stess can deff. cause the pain to esculate. I hope things get better for you soon!

even with my husband working, we're still struggling enough for me to have to ask my parents for help. it's humiliating.
Hugs,
Cherry
It's worth a try, even if it IS embarrassing.
Praying for you.
I called and got some numbers for assistance for water, electric and mortgage. I will see what they can do.
I have been in constant contact with these people the last few months getting one extension after another. Water will let me go until Feb. 3rd, the car will let us go till next week. I haven't called the cell phone yet, but plan on it soon. I can put dog food on a credit card (as a last resort) because I only have one and it's close to maxed. The car problems, I don't know.
I was the main income earner and my husband was laid off over a year, depleted our savings, lost our health insurance. I am lucky that I get some food stamps and the kids and I are on Medicaid.
Also, I called and asked to cash my retirement. I have no choice. I have waited as long as possible trying to avoid this.
My hub went into a depression, and I went into a crazy life of flying home to WI to take care of my mom and back to Houston to try to sell our house (before it was foreclosed on.) Hubby got a job in NE (the BUTT of our lives together was in NE) and I was flying all over. Finally, my Mom passed away and I even lost most of the $ she left me b/c I was paying on a home that would be foreclosed upon.
It was about 2 years of total CRAP. Then, things cleared up a bit. My hub got a job in MI doing what he loves. We had gone bankrupt (something no one in our families or circle of friends had ever thought of) but still managed a mortgage, so we got a nice home. And finally, we got our baby boy.
2 years later, we're as worried about the economy as EVER. I'm keeping my own part-time writing job but people are after it. January is OUR bad month. We watch every purchase and argue more than any other month. Once we make it through to getting our taxes back, we're okay for awhile. And March usually brings a bonus. Last year was the worst possible money year ever.
And all THAT? I'm dealing with as I deal with RSD. It DOES make the heart beat faster, it really does.
Just hang in there. There are places to go and people to see and you'll find something you can live with. Right now I feel like I've got to stop thinking I deserve it ALL and start helping others. God allowed me to keep my foot (though there are days I would gladly chop it off) and He allowed me to find this board and others.
I'll say a prayer for you, send some positive energy your way. I've been where you are, and I pray you get out and are able to show the world what YOU want them to see. :) Good Luck, Hun!
We have a fund for those who need help with utilities in my county.
Calll and see if they can extend you some money for the bills.
