Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I ended up quitting work and going on SSDI. I was very lucky to be accepted the first time, but I documented everything, including the emotional toll of having to deal with pain and illness while at work. I applied online, which allowed me to start and stop as I needed to, so that I didn't spend too much time sitting at the computer - hurting.
I pray you can find a solution. A good talk with you doctor is in order here. Hugs, Sue

If I could relieve the pain in my shoulders with surgery I'd do it. It'll take away alot of pain. Get it done girl. I'm praying for you.
Healing hugs, Marci
It sounds like you've reached an impasse. Something has to change, you're right. And it will. Just voicing it will get the ball rolling. So I'm hoping for you that you find what you need to do to change your situation.
Big Big Hug,
Ama
I need to make money through the holidays and start with my full year's allotment of PT visits.
The MRI of my shoulder showed the tendon stretched very tight. Now I'm wondering about everything else!
Thanks so much for your responses. You are all so dear to me.

You and I and a few others are in the same situation and its good that we have each other for support. You just have to endure and cry sometimes and get mad as hell. Most of all, you need to keep trying and thinking of ways to figure this out. You WILL find out the best solution, piece by piece. It certainly seems like the doctor doesn't care but he is the tool that you have to work with. You don't have to love him. He is just a tool.
Next year at this time it will be different for you, and maybe with a surgery under your belt, it will be easier times for you. Who knows, maybe you find a different way to make money by some spinoff! Life always changes.
We are here for you. Keep trying. Things will change. Someone has pieces of the answers for you to figure this out.
Angela
Have you ever thought about expanding the business enough to get some girls in there to do the work and then they have to kick back some money to you for the space I know that is how some beauty salons do it, I am not sure if you have enough space but maybe it is something to think about.
