Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
i'm not sure if this helps, but i have most definitely ODd on some redbull/starbucks frappicinos (the kind you buy in the store; vanilla is the yummiest if you ask me!), and i'm willing to go toe-to-toe w/you on pain meds (i'm on a million, it seems!). they definitely help me, but i do find @ times that i need a bit more than your average, non-drugged consumer would, perhaps?
maybe you could try it *before* the concert, and see how you do? just a thought. another (terrible) suggestion would be no-doze, or some other kind of caffiene pill? i know it's not the greatest option, but if you're anything like me, you can only sit around and feel like you're rotting for so long, right?
i really hope that you make it to the concert - if you have any more questions about the things i've taken, feel free to ask!
xoxo, misa
My new at this, so I thought I would give a shot. I am not a asortment of meds myself and for energy I also take those 5 hour energys shots the black one called extra. I usually take two, but for you I think one should be cool. :) should be to get this at your local gas station or walmart or something. You totally worked for me, maybe for you, enjoy your concert.
Navipister
caffine seems to have no effect on me anymore, probably because I drink so much coffee to just get through the day. I haven't tried the 5 hour energy shots, perhaps I'll try it before the concert!
Thanks for answering...I really want to go to this concert!
I reached my limit ,when my partener caught me tearing lumps of hair out ,and sobbing due to so much pain ,tiredness and depression.
My gp gave me morphine liquid ,for breakthrough pain..(I also have other health issues) ,but also valium to help with the dreadful muscle spasms/seizures ,and they really do help..
I still take them ,but as required ,rather than x2day as first prescribed...
Definately i`d speak with your dr ,you can`t go on not sleeping ,and feeling so rough.
Good luck..take care ,much love and gentle hugs...fingers crossed you get to your concert!xoxoxo sharon..(rocky7)
I think they have better herbal energy drinks at the health food stores - like Hansen's. Don't get things with that high fructose corn syrup in it. Bad....
God Bless
Currently I take Echinacea for immune help ( I have off and on taken this for years) along with Acai Fruit and Green tea (supposed to help also with weight loss- hard to due when you can hardly move, but has helped I have lost 4 pounds in the last two weeks since starting the AcaiTrim, but could also be from being so darn sick) But still no energy to speak of and not sleeping. So I added Valerian (nature's original Valuim) at bedtime, and Gurana in the morning. Things finally are looking up, I'm still super sick but managed to do the dishes tonight- which is huge for me :) and I got 3 hours sleep in a row last night-YEAH!!!!
I got green tea and honey ginsing tea as well from the health food store, wanted to give them a try as well.
I will look into the roots of ginseng next payday if I can, I've decided it's time to do something about being sick and exhausted all the time, the last four months have been a living hell for me, and well I'd like to change that if I can, even if I can't change the underlying cause, RSD.
Thanks for your suggestions! Now all I have to do is gather all the stuff and start drinking tea and finding out what works!
Gentle Hugs!
