Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

I... am the sympathetic type :-)
Although, I'm capable of being to the point, as well.
I'm sorry you're in this predicament.
It's an all too familiar one.
Have you told your Dr what you said here?
( that might seem self-evident.. but.. a lot of us.. for whatever reason..
Do not present how bad things are to our Dr.s
Is there anyone who could go with you to Dr. And back up how much this is affecting your quality of life. ( sounds odd, I know..
But.. for some reason.. it has added weight when my husband is there saying " she's not telling you how bad it gets"
I completely understand that feeling that you cannot " take this constant pain "
I don't have a magic answer. Wish like hell that I did.
It's wron for people to have to live in such pain.
