Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
My horse is just 15 miles away, he has new shoes on, and there are trails just down the road from him... But I have not even seen him in almost 10 days. I even have an extra horse in case I could get someone to ride with me (daughter's horse who is waiting until daughter gets a job to send for her), and I am stuck in the house.
My graduation and challenge coin came in the mail today... I best get back to homework and pass!!!
Yadlim and my Misha
My horse is at a boarding stable so they take care of all the care parts. I just go out and ride... Mentally I really need a ride, but with just seven days to finish my degree, I just don't have the time or energy. My horse probably thinks I have abandoned him. In the 15 years I have owned him, I have never gone two weeks without seeing him before!

Anyhow, yes I shake when I'm in pain especially when it first starts to flare up. And if I get stressed during that time I will shake so bad that I can't hold a pen to write. It has more recently become difficult for me physiologically, in those first few hours/day. I'm struggling with panic attacks and starting to black out. Once it goes for a day or so it's like I get back in the rhythm and I can deal with it again.
I am not on medication at this point, I'm only 27 and I really want to avoid the side effects of drugs as long as I can. It is good that I've been able to manage my body to the point I have whole weeks sometimes with no pain! So I can't complain.
