11 years ago today we saw one of the worst tragedies in recent history. We lost a lot of brave and innocent men and women but we learned just how strong we can be when we stand together as one. We honor our brave heroes today My thoughts are with my friends and family in the city today.

I.like most others, remember clearly where they were when the towers fell. It was so devastating, even though I knew no one who died there. I was especially touched by the first responders who died. I was a pre-hospital nurse for many years and I appreciate the danger they face every day. But to die there! Even worse!
My prayers are with the families and friends of those who died. May their hearts find peace, knowing their loved ones are with God now.
