Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
You're right. Do you think I should start fro scratch, or just leave the "regarding" post to speak for it?

Jancam's Thread
There be a threadbare
Bare of some left out untied
Untied to those who picked and chose
While those unchose, just cried
While those unchose, just cried
Cried to be seen as not obscene
Tried to be fit when times are lean
Fried by the lies of takers unseen
You've seen them too, you know what I mean
You've seen them too, you know what I mean
Let there be thread that gathers to bind
Blinders be shed, new answers to find
Heats torn apart, driv'n out of our mind
Cost of the Softer, leads us to kind
Cost of the Softer, leads us to kind
All have our Tragedies our Maladies untouched
Call to the Comforts of Friendliers such
Takes only time, of that we have much
Reams filled with Dreams to matter as must
Reams filled with Dreams to matter and trust
Trust that those seeing well being or not
Take us along, from our Roadsides forgot
To shout out though some pout, "You're not of our lot!"
Are we not all Family, purchased purposes bought?
Are we not all Family, surfaced purposes? Thought!
Purpose to surface that all hands should lend
Or them that condemn deny crying friend
Enoughering of this suffering, there's no Journey's End
My Missive, my Message again and again
My Missives, my Message, come see, sights to lend
My Missives, my Message, come see, again, again
Let there be thread that gathers to bind
Blinders be shed, new answers to find
Heats torn apart, driv'n out of our mind
Cost of the Softer, leads us to kind
Cost of the Softer, sending mending, that's fine!

I am so grateful for the undying and unconditional love of my children and that I have good friends, a roof over my head, food to eat, a vehicle to get around and occasionally a great book. Gotta smile at that.
Especially now, after all the holidays where I know at least I over did and am paying the price for it in pain. I knew I would, but never really believe it will be this bad somehow, probably because I block out just how horrible RSD can be in a severe flair up, and how bad the pain can be.
I bet others do the same. Then there's the whole new year thing and the thought of facing a new year doing the same old things, trying to deal with my condition can overwhelm me and dump me right down into a deep depression.
So What do I have to be Grateful for?
I can still move on my own, still walk, my mind still functions (that can be a double edge sword- at times I wish we came with a reset button for the mind!) I am surrounded by the people I love and pets I adore. I can still see and appreciate a sun rise or sunset, this mornings was beautiful as it was very foggy, and the fog was freezing on the bushes and trees and the soft red glow of the fog behind the sparkling white trees was awesome.
I no longer resent the insomnia that keeps me up, I've seen more beautiful sunrises, and photographed them than I ever did when I worked full time and ran around with the rest of the rat race.
I could go on, one thing moving slower has done is make me see and appreciate what's around me. I love to go take pictures on the good days and look at them on the bad days to remind myself that I took these, and will be able to again - summer is easier on these painful joints of mine, winter will pass.
to look us in the eyes of our heart and ask why,
to knock knock harder if we don't come out.
to make us smile so we want to come out and play.
they don't know what to say, but they come anyway for the love.
For love they come for love they come,
however they get here
for love they come.
It's cozy warm cause they are there and now they hear and they brought the love
That I needed.
and the words helped too.
