Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Did a Nephrologist do tests on you and tell you that you had Stage 3b Kidney Disease? or are you reading your blood tests and self-diagnosing?
Did you know that Dehydration can cause all of the "off" levels that you listed? Regardless kidney damage can be reversed and its not an automatic sign of the Grim Reaper knocking and time to talk of 'enjoying what time you have left". I"ve lived with 1 good Kidney and Liver Disease for years, years!
See a good Nephrologist and find out what's going on and don't make any life altering decisions until you do.
Oh btw, my daily med count is down to 18, so you may have passed me up by now! lol
Take care Jer.

How long till your surgery? And you have to behave foodwise after the surgery, you can have "phantom" gall bladder attacks for up to 9 weeks post op...they suck.
Hang in there blizzard. It’s been a long ass 2 yrs for me too. There’s got to
be a light at the end of the tunnel that ain’t an oncoming train. Hugs, Dianna.
I remember thinking “Oh crap, I’ve got to call 911 again. Turned out I had afib.. Thankfully, I responded well to the meds (as if I needed more meds).
My hip is shot, I have 2 impinged nerves trying to drive me nuts.
Other than that, life is good.
And yes, winter is coming...........It helps to have a sense of humor, right?
Take care K and everyone else in this family.
I'm in the middle of my Dr. and Pulmanologist trying to get my lungs to work right, they keep wanting to not work at the drop of a hat, and it getting old..
All the main stuff is mainly under control and doesn't bother me too much. I'm still working so I'm good. I may have to have Thyroid surgery if it doesn't stop misbehaving itself, but we'll see. Other than that same old crappy body.
I'm glad it sounds like your doing faily well, we miss you around here girl!!!!!
Behave my friend and take care of you and yoru family!
Wow.. so great to :see" you.
I almost never come to DS any more.
What a pleasant suprise.
Hey, K....
Good to see you, too.
Hugs
I'm living on Pepcid and Zofran now. Without these drugs I am sick in my stomach. I'm behaving period lol. It's time to make changes. I just can't go low carb now to control diabetes because I might stay all low fat and veggies and just use some insulin to correct the higher sugars. I guess I had 42 years of abusing my body and now my body Is telling me to stop. Time to live off baked salmon, tuna, boneless skinless chicken, and veggies. It beats level 8 pain. The anesthesiologist tricked me because I looked nervous lol. He said he was giving me a shot to relax me and then I don't remember anything after that cept for waking up shaking cold and in the OR. I don't ever want any kind of surgery again. None. You are one tough lady Ocp with all of those surgeries. I'm surprised you don't have PTSD just from all of those surgeries. I might also stick to a kidney diet too seeing how I might be prone to kidney issues. Just hit this stuff head on.
I'm not a foody, by any means, I actually really hate food, but I do know people with my "diet restrictions" that find some really good recipe's and I pretty much live on chicken breast and fresh fruit and veggies, no fat, no carbs, no processed foods, nothing with any amount of high fructose corn syrup, no carbonation, etc. There are tons of recipe's on the Net...do some research and learn to use spices to make bland taste good.
When Seth is home he eats the same things I do, his just gets jazzed up and he never complains, and he is a foody. Hang in there my friend all will work out.
I really am glad your better, safe and have less to worry about. Be a good patient and heal!!!
