constantly demands your attention; forces you to become an expert in rerouting your day, afternoon and life. Rips away spontaneity. Chains you to thoughts that are counterproductive causing a fear that you are becoming ineffective; forecasts an arduous future. Yea, I'd say that sucks.
And to think, people in chronic pain are the strongest people I know.
