Yes, it happened to me! I feel humiliated!! I wasn't thinking! Let this be a lesson to everyone who carries their meds with them. I was foolish and not thinking. I was in a hurry and just grabbed my full bottles and off to work I went. It happened this last Friday, ( 9-3 ) and I really didn't realize it until Tuesday. I mean, I knew my meds were missing by Sat late morning, but I didn't conclude them stolen until Tues. I called the cops and filed a report and that's all I can do with that. To keep it from happening again, I put my meds in a container that isn't recognizable as a pill bottle and have my Rx in a safe place with me. I am very thankful that my pain clinic was merciful and replaced them. But it was a hellish few days!!!!
The think I'm very worried about is the fact that my ADDRESS is on those pill bottles!!!! I informed my landlord ( whom lives next door ), and my DH is on "the case". Of course those meds are long gone as I didn't make a report the same day, BUT who ever it was COULD come looking for more!!
Has this ever happen to anyone else? Did anything ever come of it?

'cause the thief now knows where you live. lt's a law in AZ & l think it is elsewhere as well. l think a Dr. code that patients must know to get meds is a better idea.

Times are hard and people are willing to do things that maybe a year or two ago they wouldnt.
Maybe they want to sell them? Maybe just use them.

Heck, its hard enough to get the darn things , then some jerk steals them.
Years ago, my sister or my nephew stole my percocett. They knew of my pain , yet thought of their own wants more.
