Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I have found a sublingual vit B12 and prescription vitamin D to be helpful in maintaining levels in my body. As far as alleviating any pain, I can't attest to that.
I use many of the things suggested on this thread and all have helped at different times. I wanted to add that deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and NRT (neurological reflex therapy) have all reduced some of my pains somewhat. Different pains different remedies, ya know.
Anyhow, I wish you well with being able to manage your pain.
One thing I've learned over the years is that the medical community generally doesn't provide the level of care patients deserve and therefore patients need to arm themselves with knowledge whever they can find it.
I do think this thread has provided many good treatment suggestions. I wish I would see more of that in other threads, along with more diagnostic advice. We can help each other.
