Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
There is a book and a PDF by Dr Tennant look it up and give it to your dear daughter to read after you have. It goes a long way to explaining how we get so worn out.
Be kind to your self, take time out when you feel like it's all too much. I isolate until I can regroup and face family etc they understand after awhile. X
I just wanna say that I understand your position and live it in some form every day. I hope and pray you can forgive yourself. Please keep coming back.

The state just cut funding for our therapy so we have both been cut in half time wise. Is this what they wanted?
I cant do this again. I have NO family and No friends. Not kidding. Everyone left when they found out my husband molested my daughter. Church people. How am I gonna get through this again. I feel like the entire world hates me. Well at least my town. Why do I act so stupid and why arent we getting more help. My husband got 13 years in prison. I think we deserve at least that in therapy. All this makes my pain even worse.
Sorry to rant but I am having a really bad day to say the least.
You are definitely not alone. I've said and done things I regret because of the way I felt.
Have you talked to your kids about the pain and told them you were sorry? Sometimes just facing it will help.
Please think about getting more help with your thoughts. I went into a mental health unit last July (right about this time, as a matter of fact). I was thinking about how to kill myself, and it scared the bejeebers out of me. It was the best 9 days I've ever spent in a hospital. They adjusted my antidepressants, but even better, they showed me how much I had to live for. It really turned my life around.
God bless and I hope you're feeling better soon.

Maybe this is the way you get better. It gets worse first. Im dealing with a lot of years of abuse myself. Everything is happening at the same time.
Im feeling a little better and I have to get to my DBT class.
Thank you all very much.
Try to trust that they will grow up just fine. You are not doing it onpurpose.
Glad you posted, helps to vent! Feel free as often as needed, that's what we are here for!
