OT is a bit different that PT. As PT is done to strengthen the body and help recover from injury/surgery/illness, OT is done to adjust ones skill set/level so that employment can be found.
Generally a patient and Therapist would go over you current skill sets and your current medical/mental limitations. Once those pieces of information are known then a Goal can be set as to what you think you can do for a Job. You then work with you Occupational Therapist to reach that goal by adapting yourself physically/mentally so that you can work in the area's of your Goal.
OT is all about Adaption, Modification, Teaching and Re-learning new and old skill sets so that you can work comfortably.
