Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Hugs and hope the medical team gets to root of problems .
What you need is a doctor who will look outside the box. It's like Lupus. They won't test me for that because supposedly I'm too young. You need to be checked for all of the usual suspects like Fibro, MS, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, or any disorder that would cause you wide spread pain. You could also be suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It could even be something as simple as Major Depression Disorder that can cause you physical pain.
I have a similar situation where my oxygen saturation levels are completely normal in the docs office. They are usually between 94 and 98. But when I exert myself I get lung pain and dizziness. They would have to do what is called VQ scan of my lungs to test for lung damage. In my case I've suffered recent trauma in the lungs which is a strong indication that my symptoms are being caused by the after-effects of the initial medical event. With my leg I suspect that I have what is called Post Thrombotic Syndrome. They are going to run a Duplex Doppler Ultrasound on me to document the damage to my right leg.
Any how, I'm sorry for going into my own story. I wanted to give you an idea of how they don't think that young people can get sick. I was going to ask you if you've been tested for Lupus or Lyme Disease? In think you can get at least one of those diseases from a deer tick bite. Have you ever noticed a big welt anywhere on your body before? That would be one thing the doctors should eliminate in the diagnosis process. Also, you're not crazy or anything. Have you ever seen the show "mystery diagnosis?" Please look up that show and watch some of the episodes. There are people on that show who went years laying in bed and all messed, even called crazy by their doctors. But once they found the right physician; a doctor who was willing to look outside the box, they were properly diagnosed. One lady had a hole in her heart or something, could barely function, her own husband divorced her thinking she was making it all up! But once she found the right doctor, he did a echocardiogram and found the problem. Now she can function normally because they gave her the right combination of meds to alleviate her symptoms.
Don't be afraid to seek out answers. You are in control of your own body. You are your best advocate. Sometimes I wish I could make the doctors live in my body for a couple of days...and see if they think I'm crazy after that. Too bad we can't facilitate that! Any how, you will find out what is wrong with you and things will get better! I'm sending you some positive energy and support. I believe you, you know what is going on with you, and that is all that matters!
Hugs & God Bless

Just wanted to welcome you to the group and let you know that you're not alone. We're all here fighting one pain or another, or many in some cases. Tigg is right, keep a journal. Write everything down. If one dr. turns you away, find another, you're never too young unfortunately. That's an excuse some drs. use when they can't figure things out.
You hang in there and keep us posted. Again, Welcome to the group.
Hugs,
