Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

Seriously though, it's a cake walk. The important thing is that you do the test and get some answers to the questions you have. Good luck.

I'm sure you'll sail through it just fine.
I had an EMG on my feet and it was barely uncomfortable. I've heard others who said that it hurt like heck, but I guess everyone is different.
I'm so happy you got the official dx. of celiac. It's something that is manageable and you said you've already been on the diet for a few weeks, so I hope your symptoms are controlled soon.
You've been through so much in the last few years, more than some people go through in a lifetime. You are so strong and I know that this strength will see you through just about anything.

It just got cancelled though - my neurologist is sending me to Washington University over Thanksgiving to have it done because they supposedly have better equipment and do treatment for pediatric patients with nerve damage. The doctor there also happens to specialize in syringomyelia so I think I should be able to get some better treatment there.
At what level does your syrinx begin and end?
Have you had decompression surgery?
Take care.
