so my family dr. perscribed it for me for my knee pain, and when he set up a MRI for my right knee.. well i toke the med and it's 500 mg. but it dosen't seem to help. most times by the time it starts to work, i'm about to take my second dose of it. i work at cedar point in arcades and i'm standing for a good long time on concert.. my mom started to get on cause i missed one days dose of it. she said it's suppose to help heal the inflamatory tissue or something like that..

has anyone else been taking this med? if so has it helped?

Pink and I always wanted to travel to Cedar Point, we love roller coaster but alas we cannot ride them anymore.

Naproxen is an inexpensive anti-inflammatory medication, prescription strength Eleve.

I have bad knees, arthritis is killing them. Celebrex is more expensive so I cannot say what your insurance will do, but it is better and easier on the stomach.

You should be taking condroitin and conglosimine as well.

I have been taking Naproxen for a long time. You have to be diligent with it. It is used as more of a preventitive medicine. Take your doses on time and after it gets in your system it will start working like it is supposed to. I have to take it to keep Hyperuricemia attacks at bay. It effects many of my joints!. Just hang in there.

The reason you mom got upset over that missed dose is because you have to keep taking it for it to start working, and that can take awhile. When my son's knees were hurting him a lot and he had to stand all day at work I bought him a brace. He said it helped him get through his shift.

I have just started taking naproxen today on 250 for fibromylagia and how long does it normally take to kick in. I only take one every 6-8 hours

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
