Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
Some of these meds they give us are awful! They seem to do more harm then good. Can they give you anything to help with your stomach?
I know you are frustrated. Hang in there honey!

Try putting a heating pad on your stomach for the pain.
BIG HUGS!
I hope you are feeling well soon
Thanks again
Kallie
Like cc said, a heating pad on the stomach will alleviate the spasms and pain. All opiates make you constipated, so by taking something like Miralax and Pro-biotics you can keep your system going, and it will eliminate the pain.
Stopping the pain meds is NOT an answer, stopping them without your Doctor's supervision can cause you to go through withdrawals, and it will also make your pain worst than what it is now. Follow the advice that you've been given here, and you will see that constipation and colics will become a thing of the past.
